OUR MISSION is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by Word, Worship, Community, and to celebrate the Sacraments and give witness through joyful life of prayer and service.

Dear Parishioners,
Happy Fourth of July to you and your families! As we celebrate the blessings of our nation and the gift of freedom, let us rejoice in the Lord always, for He is the source of our hope, peace, and joy.
It is with great joy that I introduce myself as your new pastor of St. Francis of Assisi, Norton, and St. Joseph, New Almelo.
I am Fr. Vinnerraj Simeonraj, HGN, I love to be called Fr. Vinner. I belong to the Heralds of Good News (HGN), a missionary Society of Apostolic Life founded in India in 1984.
I was born in 1984 on the feast of St. John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of priests. I come from a loving Catholic family with two brothers, one sister, four nephews, and two nieces. My parents, now in their seventies, remain active in our parish—my father serves on the parish council, and my mother is a member of the Legion of Mary.
My desire to become a priest began in the fourth grade. Encouraged by the faith and prayers of my family, I entered the seminary in 2002 and was ordained to the priesthood on May 16, 2012, by Most Rev. Jude Paulraj, Bishop of Palayamkottai, Tamil Nadu, India.
After serving as a parochial vicar in the Archdiocese of Bangalore and later as Administrator and Principal of Good News English Medium School in Vijayawada, I spent the past nine years ministering in the Archdiocese of Seattle. I am now grateful and excited to begin serving the faithful of the Diocese of Salina.
My priestly motto is “Sent to Proclaim.” I believe every parish is a family where we grow together in faith, prayer, and love. I look forward to celebrating the Eucharist with you, visiting your homes, sharing your joys and sorrows, and growing together as disciples of Christ.
I have a deep devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary, Saints Joseph and Francis. enjoy my personal prayer time, visiting the sick, walking, hiking, biking, cooking, healthy eating, gardening, and exploring God’s beautiful creation.
Thank you for your warm welcome. I humbly ask for your prayers as I begin this new mission among you. Please know that you and your families will be remembered in my daily prayers.
