Announcement: Bishop Vincke has asked that I continue my assignments at Norton Prison and Stockton Prison and he wants me to return to ministry at Ellsworth Prison. Since that would be a 5 hour round trip from Norton, he has decided to assign me to a parish in-between the prisons. So starting July 1st I will be the pastor at the parishes in Wakeeney and Collyer. Fr. Vinner Raj of the Heralds of Good News will be the new priest at Norton and New Almelo. He has been serving in Seattle for 10 years and on July 1st he will begin driving from Seattle to Kansas to begin serving here. My new assignment is actually an answer to prayer as I have been asking God how I can be closer to my Dad that is living alone on the farm with a license that has restricted mileage because of his eyesight. So now I am going to be much closer and able to visit him and help him more. You can support my need for fuel and car repairs by contacting Ellsworth or Norton parishes and asking to donate to their prison fund which will be reimbursing me for my milage. I also need your prayers for safe travel as I become a prison circuit rider! The prisoners can't make it to parish Mass so it's my honor to bring the Sacraments to them. Christ is King! Christ is King even in prison!
